Twin screw extrusion machine is mainly applied in polymer processing industry,with the continuous development of polymer industry application of twin screw extruder is more and more widely used.An important indicator of the groove depth ratio is a measure performance of twin screw extruder. But overall, the mixture of ordinary parallel twin-screw extruder performance is good, the compression ratio can not meet the requirements, common conical twin screw extruder compression is large, but the poor mixing performance. For now some factory design and production of high groove depth ratio of twin screw extruder, the compression ratio can meet the requirements, but its part of the screw structure is sweep type structure, self-cleaning and mixing performance is poorer.And ladder-like twin-screw type screw structure is the sweep, self-cleaning and mixing performance is good, its structure is trapezium structure, with high compression ratio.This paper main research content includes:1,Compared to the other twin screw extruder,analyses the advantages of the ladder shaped double screw extruder.2,With determine the order of the ladder shaped twin screw extruder,analyzed the effect on the compression ratio with different slot shape,and though the combination of different screw elements,get the ladder shaped twin screw extruder that can achieve the compression ratio.3,Using the ANSYS software, analysis the influence on the mixing property with different orders of twin screw extruder.4,By using the fluid solid coupling theory,correlation analysis is made for the screw.
