Supramolecular chemistry is one of the frontier research fields of the chemistry、life science and material science. New design, synthesis and applications of the supramolecular host compound chemistry, such as crown ethers, cyclodextrins, cucurbituril, calixarene and so on, has been a research hot spot. Similar to the calixarene, pilla-arene is a new kind of macrocyclic host compound, it is made of hydroquinone or hydroquinone ether by methylene bridge in benzene ring. Because of its unique spatial structure, pilla-arene compounds have many advantages than macrocyclic host compound, such as highly symmetrical space structure, easy to organic reaction of the active site, Special dissolving properties and so on. Therefore, today pilla-arene has become one of the highlights research hotspot in supramolecular chemistry. In the article, synthesis of bomine-ethoxy pillar [5] arene and bomine-ethoxy pillar [6] arene, Synthesis、characterization of two new Silica-Bonded bomine-ethoxy Pilla-arene stationary phase for high performance liquid chromatography. Detection dibutyl phthalate in drinks by the bomine-ethoxy Pilla-arene stationary phase using High performance liquid chromatography and the results are satisfactory. Four contents were studied in the following.1.Bomine-ethoxy pillar [5] arene and bomine-ethoxy pillar [6] arene were synthesized and characterized by MS and 1HNMR, the results show that the compounds have been synthesized successfully.2. Bomine-ethoxy pillar [5] arene stationary phase and bomine-ethoxy pillar [6] arene stationary phase were synthesized and characterized by IS, TGA and EA. The results show that both of them have good chemical stability and the resulting bonding amount are 118 μmol.g-1 and 249 μmol.g-1, respectively.3. The chromatographic performance was investigated by separation of PAHs, phenol derivatives, aniline derivatives, mono-substituted benzene derivatives and isomers. To compar C18 column, the result shows that both bomine-ethoxy pillar [5] arene stationary phase and bomine-ethoxy pillar [6] arene stationary phase exhibit a multitude of interaction mechanisms with solutes, such as hydrophobic interaction, π-π ineraction, C-H…O hydrogen bond interaction, Specific identification interaction and so on.4. The silica-bonded bomine-ethoxy pillar [5] arene stationary phase was applied to determination of dibutyl phthalate in drinks by HPLC/UV, the results showed that the method is accurate, rapid and sensitive.
