Continuous casting process is one of the main process of steelmaking, secondary cooling process is the core technology of continuous casting process. Studies have shown that if the cc secondary cooling water distribution is undeserved, will not only cause the casting defects, can also affect the production of continuous casting machine. This topic in order to improve the surface quality of casting as the goal, aiming at the existence of steel billet continuous casting production line of continuous casting billet surface crack, central loose, defects such as shrinkage cavity, and the composition segregation, billet secondary cooling solidification heat transfer mathematical model is established, using the established mathematical model to describe the solidification process of slab, and at the same time, in the current in some of the secondary cooling water distribution control method has carried on the comparative analysis, under the certain rule of metallurgy,secondary cooling water distribution control model is established, at the same time,combining with the target temperature of the slab and the specific process parameters, to determine the water distribution in secondary cooling region of reasonable process parameters, optimize the secondary cooling zone of the secondary cooling water.This topic using Visual Basic 6.0 language to write the cc secondary cooling water distribution control system, realized the offline simulation, guidance control online production situation. The control system not only can realize the function simulation, and realized the function of guidance control online production. Steel grade, the user can according to the need in the system input parameters such as slab section, drawing speed,the computer can be used to build the mathematical model to calculate the slab surface temperature and simulate the solidification of the shell; At the same time, the control system can be based on the online production according to the online production of slab casting parameters such as temperature, speed, and calculates the secondary cooling water with the paragraphs and on the basis of slab surface temperature and target temperature of the comparison results with the adjustment of the water, thus ensuring the optimal water distribution of the secondary cooling zone, the slab surface temperature are almost consistent with the target temperature, ensure the quality of the casting.
