China’s soda plant by ammonia soda production process, the production process will produce a lot of white precipitate, which is commonly known as soda residue, white mud. Due to the characteristics of Soda Waste Mud itself is difficult to dispose of, the alkali white mud to deal with problems have not been solved very well, so to deal with the problem of alkali white mud has been limited to the development of ammonia soda enterprises. The application of nanometer calcium carbonate can be widely, alkali white mud into nano calcium carbonate,alkali recovery of white mud use, it is not only in alkali white mud solution has practical significance, but also to achieve economic and environmental benefits win-win situation.Is analyzed in this paper the chemical composition of the white mud in soda, with white mud of alkali and carbon dioxide as raw material by carbonization from of alkaline white mud in the preparation of nano carbonate calcium, by controlling the calcination temperature, reaction temperature, concentration of Ca (OH)2 and other reaction conditions, the study on preparation of nano calcium carbonate the best experimental conditions. To according to the chemical composition of alkali Nai with anhydrous calcium carbonate and the corresponding reduction of chemical additives improve the purity and whiteness, controlled by adding different amount of anhydrous calcium carbonate and chemical additives, so as to improve the purity of nanometer calcium carbonate and the brightness can reach the best effect. The technical index of nanometer calcium carbonate can reach the technical index of industrial precipitation calcium carbonate.Experimental results show that the washing experiment with anhydrous sodium carbonate so as to make the initial white mud carbonate 55.32% of calcium content, whiteness value increased to 20.5 percent carbonate 73.53% of calcium content, whiteness value 63.32%, anhydrous sodium carbonate can greatly improve the content of calcium carbonate and whiteness; adding anhydrous sodium carbonate amount of improvement of different calcium carbonate content and whiteness of different, when adding anhydrous sodium carbonate and white mud to 1:4 volume, improve the content of calcium carbonate and whiteness effect best, calcium carbonate content for 89.63%, whiteness is 75.35%. The agent a can significantly improve the brightness of nanometer calcium carbonate, by the original average 70.3% increased to 81.58%; whiteness of nanometer calcium carbonate with additive A is added to the amount of increase and increase, when adding additives A and nano calcium carbonate to 1:5, whitening effect of the nanometer calcium carbonate reached best whiteness could reach to 83.3%, agent a can improve the whiteness of calcium carbonate. Preparation of income of nanometer calcium carbonate purity carbonization reaction temperature and concentration of Ca (OH)2 carbonation reaction of the main influencing factors, of calcium carbonate particle diameter size slowly increases with increase in the temperature of, with low concentrations of calcium hydroxide to generate calcium carbonate particle size is smaller, calcination temperature degree on the nano calcium carbonate particle diameter has little effect; The calcium carbonate can be prepared by proper treatment.
