Study On Synthesis Process Of Cloquintocet-mexyl

Cloquintocet-mexyl is one kind of herbicide safener and always be used with clodinafop propargyl.With the industrial production of cloquintocet-mexyl as the research background, the paper was investigated using 5-chloro-8-hydroxyquinoline and methylhexyl chloroacetate as raw material.The paper also optimized the process conditions and did research on the reaction kinetics.A method of high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) with external standard was established to the quantitative analysis of 5-chloro-8-hydroxyquinoline,methylhexyl chloroacetate and cloquintocet-mexyl. Same chromatographic condition was used to analyze three compounds and meet the needs of small-scale test and industrial production.This paper determined the solubility of cloquintocet-mexyl in organic solvent like hexane and aqueous solution with inorganic salt.The solubility data was associated with Aspen software, and found that calculation data was consistent with the experiment data.So the experimental data of solubility are accurate and reliable.The paper focused on the study of various factors which affects the synthesis process of cloquintocet-mexyl like acid binding agent,reaction time,the ratio of 5-chloro-8-hydroxyquinoline to methylhexyl chloroacetate and so on.Optimization of process parameters was obtained through the process.The paper also did research on the method of removing undissolved substance in acetone and found that inorganic salt in cloquintocet-mexyl can be removed by adding acetic acid.The kinetic equation for this reaction was established and the equation isThe results of research obtained by the trial industrial production can be used to guide the real industrial production of cloquintocet-mexyl.
