In China, children’s total population accounts for about 30% of the national total population. The product of baby carriers is one most important constituent part of the toy industry and baby industry. Chinese and even the global baby carriers industry is facing an unprecedented consumption era. The amazing consumption ability and potential business opportunities of baby carriers market have caused great attention for the persons of this industry. However, the good market prospect does not mean high priced level of the product. In order to seize the market opportunities, the famous baby carriers brand has lowered its cost and sacrificed profits of part products to gain more sales opportunities. Then the small and medium-sized enterprises can only run with scissors. The competition among enterprises is not a good and orderly healthy competition. If the baby carriers industry wants to develop constantly for a long time and in a good state,it must have the unique baby carrier product and constantly bring forth the new through the old, which can realize the prosperity of the whole baby carriers industry.In this paper, according to the existing modeling style of baby scooters in the market, it has summarized the existing status of baby carriers modeling, also summed up six kinds of basic modeling elements and four kinds of decorative modeling elements, as well as distinguished the main modeling characteristics and secondary modeling characteristics, finally getting six main modeling characteristics projects, like face contour line, profile contour line, seat, direction steering handle, backrest and cartoon elements. Analyze the morphology of the existing baby scooters and divide them into 8 types.Sum up the main characteristics of baby scooters to six kinds of important characteristics line and 28 modeling categories. Combining the general research method of Kansei Engineering, extract the intention vocabulary pairs meetingconsumers’ affective needs, which are “safe-- not safe”, “lovely – cold”,“gorgeous – simple’, “lively – deep” and “comfortable-- not comfortable”.Comprehensively apply the semantic differences method to make the questionnaire of consumers’ perceived intention. As for the consumers of different ages and backgrounds, make investigation and affective scores. Use the statistics method of SPSS software to quantify the mapping relationship between the baby carriers modeling features and consumers’ perceptions & feelings.According to the score of modeling category on each modeling language,propose the reasonable suggestions meeting the baby carriers’ design, research and development; establish the Kansei evaluation system of baby scooters.In this paper, by establishing the mapping relationship between the important modeling characteristics of baby carriers and consumers’ perceptions& feelings, provide the effective basis for designers to design, research and develop the baby scooter modeling meeting the consumers’ emotional appeal,also provide the evaluation system of consuming satisfaction about baby scooters,expecting to play a role for the actual development of baby carriers’ enterprises.
