After a few detailed review and summary about development of fingerprint-resistant dope, and compare various kinds of preparation technology of fingerprint-resistant dope at home and abroad, a new method was proposed in this paper:The final self-crosslinking fluorinated waterborne acrylate emulsion was prepared by introducing self-crosslinking and fluoro monomers. Be formulated with various additives and then prepared film forming, corrosion resistance and adhesion, excellent performance of the waterborne dope, and systematic screening of various additives, enable the system to achieve optimum performance.The emulsion of self-crosslinking fluorinated waterborne acrylate was characterized via FT-IR and industry standard test. The effects of supplementing amount of monomer on the emulsion stability, viscosity, as well as the rate of the water absorption of latex film were discussed in this paper. It was indicated that the product prepared with acrylic monomers, fluoro monomers, self-crosslinking monomers, accounting for 20%,6% and 4% of total monomers respectively, those are the best conditions of emulsion viscosity, stability and the water absorption of latex film.The stable chromium-free emulsion was obtained through further treatment with additives. Meanwhile, the category and content of additives were determined by investigating their influences on system stability and the film properties. It was found that the product prepared with a mixture of propylene glycol monomethyl ether and alcohol as solvent, the amount of 1% KH-560 as the auxiliary crosslinking agent. silica sol, metal salt and water-based wax with 1.5%,0.3% and 1% of the total mass of emulsion, had an outstanding coating performance and excellent corrosion resistance.Through the investigation of curing process on the properties of impact, it was found that film-forming process of chromium-free emulsion carried out at 120℃(PMT 80℃), film thickness was 1μm. The performance of the coating, the efficiency of industrial production, as well as the benefit of economic get the best balance value. The waterborne chromium-free fingerprint resistant coating can reach the standard of industry using in corrosion resistance, electrical conductivity, alkali resistance and other performance.
