Research On Innovation Design Of The Massage Chair

As more and more much attention is attached to healthy of people themselves, massage chair,which have function of massaging and protecting health,draw concerns increasely. Although the technology of massage chair have been very mature within last decades,the innovation design of massage chair is at the beginning of research stage.Based on study of massage chair on basic theories,this paper sums up the design principles of function and shape, the selection principles of colour and materials,and ergonomics about massage chair design. Combining basic theories of massage chair with basic theories of innovation design,this paper proposed methods of massage chair innovating design on the aspects of function, shape, colour, materials,technology and brand.Functions innovation design methods of massage chair contain combination,professionalization and development of the function. Based on the design of shape and the selection of colour and materials, this paper comes up with innovation design methods for massage chair’s exterior design.Technology innovation design of massage chair is no only upgrading and improving technology,but also applying new technology to design.While brand innovation design of massage chair is that the design principles of different series products accordant basing on integrating the brand core-value.Eventually, under the guidance of basic theory and method of massage chair innovation design, the feasibility of methods what have been described aboved is verified by practical cases.
