This subject, “ carbon fiber/in-situ nano HA coating reinforce HA composite‖and―glass fiber reinforce microporous unsaturated polyester composite‖,stems from the item ―The Project Supported by Natural Science Basic Research Plan in Shaanxi Province of China( Program No. 2014JM6233,2010JM6004)‖,the content in this paper is part of the subject。Carbon fiber(CF)has no-creep、excellent fatigue resistance、small thermal expansion coefficient、high elastic modulus,due to its bioinert and non-toxi,it can exit in human body steadily for long time,as a perfect reinforcing material,CF has not only good histo-compatibility and no rejection reaction to body,but also original bone induced ability,relying on the advantages of the above,CF is already widely used in medical, life science and other fields。Hydroxyapatite(HA)is the major inorganic components of natural bone which processes good biocompatibility and biological activity,however,the brittleness of HA limits its uses。In order to improve the brittleness of HA,we used CF as reinforcer and prepared carbon fiber/in-situ nano HA coating reinforce HA composite。Due to the great mechanical properties and biocompatibility of CF,the composite will have great application prospects and value。But the big different of thermal expansion coefficient between HA and CF will affect the mechanical properties of composite,therefore,it is necessary to have the CF surface with surface treatment to improve the interface bonding of CF and HA。The research content and conclusions of this part are listed as follows:(1)Calcium phosphate coating was prepared on PAN-based carbon fibers by using electrochemical deposition,the prepared HA coatings were characterized by scanning electron microscope( SEM),energy dispersive spectroscopy(EDS) and polarization curves to study on how to prepare HA coating with excellent crystal structure. In this paper,process parameters like current density,deposition time and patterns etc.are controlled and determined to research the general regularities of preparing HAP coatings. The research shows that voltage and current values affect the components and structures of the coatings;the coating is composed of slightness-needle grains at low current density while rod-like grains at high current density, the microstructure and dispersible uniformity will be improved with increasing the current density and deposition time. also,compared with HA coating prepared under constant voltage,the HA crystals prepared under constant current own a smaller size in microstructure,and the combine of HA coating with carbon fiber were stronger.(2)Microcellular plastic is foamed plastic in which the bubbles are well-distributed while the diameter is less than100μm.The typical microcell size is between 5 ~ 50μm and the number of microcell is109 ~ 1012 /cm3.Microcellular plastic has many advantages such as lightweight,low-cost, good heat and sound insulation,high specific strength,absorbing shock loads,etc.In this paper,we used phenolic resin microspheres as pore former, glass fiber as reinforced phase prepared glass fiber reinforced microporous unsaturated polyester(GF/MUPC) the effect of each raw material content on mechanical properties was investigated.the result shows that when styrene is 5%, glass fiber is 19.2%, curing agent is 1%, accelerator is 0.5%,we will get the best mechanical properties.
