The coke is a kind of very important raw material in the production of metallurgical industry, because the quality of coking affects the performance of metallurgical products directly. Therefore, coke-pushing operation planning plays a key role in ensuring the process of whole production process orderly and smoothly. To assure the production stability, and improve the quality of coking, a reasonable coke-pushing plan has to be assigned and the corresponding scheduling must be optimized, which are capable of enhancing the performance of the coking process.In this paper, a reasonable planning goal and a overall program of the coke oven system are considered according to the technological process of coke-pushing operation, and a few factors which affect the coke oven planning during the production process, such as coking time, maintenance time, operation time and cycle time, etc. The limited mechanical resources and many operating conditions which exist in the coke-pushing process make it hard to complete the optimal coke oven planning. Thus, the optimal coke-push plan and its related scheduling modules are carefully studied in both the normal and abnormal conditions.1) By analyzing the relationship between the various kinds of time and the sequence principle of the coke-pushing process, an optimized scheduling model of coke oven operation plan for the normal operating conditions are established, which is obtained on the basis of the rules of coke oven operation plan.2) And as for the abnormal operating conditions, the scheduling method is determined by using the expert correcting-method in the abnormal operating conditions such as the accident of pushing coke, oven number out of sequence and ill oven. As for the situation which are not matched with the expert correcting-method rules, another optimized scheduling model is established by using an improved Tabu searching algorithm in order to get the optimal coke-pushing plan.Finally, the production planning and scheduling optimization system of coking is developed on the platform of Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 and Microsoft SQL Server 2008 database. The system establishes normal and abnormal operating conditions, formulates an optimized coke oven operation plan automatically, and refreshes the dynamic data of coke-pushing on time to ensure the coking time and the quality of coking improvement.
