Counter the situation that the traditional infrared decoy can’t effectively oppose IR/millimeter wave guidance weapon, this project based on metal foil and preliminary prepared a kind of combustible material.In order to enhance the spontaneous foil’s infrared radiation properties and millimeter wave scattering properties,this paper launched the study on it’s infrared radiation and millimeter wave scattering characteristics.The spontaneous combustible foil’s preparation conditions is studied.In the spontaneous combustible foil’s combustible process we tested it’s temperature、 radiation intensity and spectral characteristics and other parameters by infrared thermal imager and spectrometer,and studied the effect law of manufacture conditions on the infrared radiation characteristics.The results shows that select suitable material,proportion,shape and size can effectively improve the spontaneous combustible foil’s infrared radiation properties.We selected several additives based on the theory of infrared radiation and spontaneous combustible foil’s characteristics.By testing spontaneous combustible foil’s temperature, radiation intensity and spectral characteristics in the combustion process,studied it’s infrared radiation properties under different additives and ratio,and obtained the spontaneous foil of better infrared radiation performance,it’s maximum combustible temperature reached 913.2℃, the radiation brightness of 1380w/(Sr·m2) and the time of high temperature reached 26s.On the basis of millimeter wave scattering theory,we tested it’s Radar scattering cross section by RCS test system and studied the effect law of different shape, size, thickness of coating to the foil. Studies shows that spontaneous combustible foil can obtain better millimeter wave scattering performance by optimization.
