In this paper, the problems for the actual production process of fertilizer were investigated. We have solved the problem on the dust, ingredients and drying process through the method of factory field trials combining with laboratory analysis. Furthermore, process upgrading was completed. The results are as follows.1.The bag-type dust collector was used to replace the original Venturi scrubbers. After this transform, the concentration of dust declines from 211.5 mg/m3 to 5.8 mg/m3, which is far below the "fertilizer industrial pollutant emission standards" rating 100 mg/m3(first grade). For the problems of liquidity, the flow amount has improved 20.4%, increasing from 137kg/h to 165kg/h. Now, the average recovery of dust is 99.5%, exceeding the design standards (99.0%). For the economic efficiency, bag-type dust collector will bring RMB 296,400 per year on revenue.2.Promotion of equipment for the batching system. We designed the batch-type weighing batching system to replace the existing manual batching system. After upgrading, the precision level reached 0.2 GB precision (total feeding 0.2% hourly basis), the ingredients speed reaches to 50-60 times per hour and the single ingredient range from 40 to 400kg per unit. The outcome of element analysis for Changshanbrand 16-16-16 fertilizer produced by two kinds of feeding process respectively shows that batch-type weighing batching system is more precise.3.The combined type structure shoveling plate dryer was designed and modification on production the line was completed. The heat exchange area has been increased effectively by the new dryer, leading to the granular fertilizer more evenly distributed in the drum. Besides, the removal capacity of water could be improved effectively of 25%. The yield has been increased of 33% than before.
