| In the thesis, nine d10 transition metal coordination polymers constructed through the coordination of Zn II/Cd II ion, bis(imidazole) derivatives and aromatic carboxylic acids have been obtained, using hydrothermal or solvethermal condition. Their structures have been characterized by IR, elemental analyses, Single-crystal X-ray diffraction. Furthermore,luminescent properties and thermal stabilities of complexes 1-7 were also investigated. The experiment results as follows:1. We select benzimidazole derivatives [1,1′-(1,4-butanediyl)bis(benzimidazole)(bbbm)or 1,1′-(1,4-butanediyl)bis(2-methylbenzimidazole)(bbim)] alone or with carboxylic acid as coligands to build seven novel coordination polymers under the existence of Zn IIor Cd II ion.[Cd Cl2(bbim)]n(1)[Zn Cl2(bbbm)]n(2)[Zn Cl(HCOO)(bbbm)]n(3)[Cd(Ph COO)2(bbim)]n(4)[Cd(Ph COO)2(bbbm)]n(5){[Zn(ip-OH)(bbim)]·DMF}n(6)[Zn(ip-OH)(bbbm)]n(7)Complexes 1-5 have one-dimensional(1D) chain structures. Complexes 1, 3 and 4possess similar 1D meso-helical chain structures, which are extended into 2D or 3D supramolecular structure through intermolecular hydrogen-bonding, C-H···π and π···πinteractions. Complexes 2 and 5 exhibit similar 1D infinite helical chains. The 1D chains further form a three-dimensional(3D) supramolecular structure through intermolecular hydrogen-bonding and π···π interactions in 2, but form a 2D supramolecular layer via C-H···πinteractions in 5. Complexes 6 and 7 possess a 2D 44-sql network. Furthermore, luminescent properties and thermal stabilities of 1-7 were also investigated.2. Two complexes have been prepared through the combition of3,5-bis(1-imidazol)pyridine(biip), dicarboxylic acid [5-hydroxylisophthalic acid(H2ip-OH)or 4,5-imidazoledicarboxylic acid(H3imdc)] and ZnIIion under hydrothermal or solvethermal reaction condition.[Zn(ip-OH)(biip)]n(8)[Zn2(Himdc)2(biip)]n(9)Complexes 8 and 9 are all two-dimensional(2D) layer structures. From the topological view, complex 8 possesses binodal(2,4)-connected {4.85}{4}structure. complex 9 possesses3-connected 63 structure. The thermal stabilities and fluorescence properties of 8 and 9 havealso been investigated. |
