Amino acid ionic liquids not only bears the common properties of ionic liquids, and its special properties, such as biodegradability, biological activity,low toxicity, its strong hydrogen bonding ability etc., allow them to dissolve biological substances such as DNA, carbohydrates cellulose and other materials.Although with the deepening of the understanding of ionic liquids and the constantly expanding research, more and more synthesis of functionalized ionic liquids, but for the solution of the structure, physical and chemical properties, synthesis of is still very limited, which makes the nature of the ionic liquid in the lack of theoretical research and application of adequate experimental data. In view of this, we synthesized five kinds of alanine homologue imidazoles ionic liquids: [C2mim][Ala]、[C3mim][Ala]、[C4mim][Ala]、[C5mim][Ala]、[C6mim][Ala]([Cnmim] [Ala](n = 2, 3, 4, 5, 6) and by nuclear magnetic resonance(1H-NMR) and differential scanning calorimetry(DSC) on the characterization. In(288.15-318.15 K) plus or minus 0.05 K temperature range determination of the dilute solution of the five kinds of ionic liquids in the m = 0.0100 to 0.5000 mol·kg-1 concentrations of density and surface tension, the ionic liquid solution is obtained by calculation of the volume experimental value, and we put forward to predict different concentration solution of a specific volume of empirical equation, using the empirical equation to estimate the five kinds of ionic liquids and the surface tension of the aqueous solution of its estimated value and experimental value in the range of allowable error.In addition, we have a further discussion on the chemical and physical properties of ionic liquid dilute solution. According to the dates of density and surface tension, surface pressure,molar volume, surface entropy, surface energy and have been calculated,they showed a good linear relationship with the molality and temperature.
