With the advent of technology, whether power electronic component, information technology industry or nation’s defense industry has set higher demands on properties of soft magnetic materials. In the soft magnetic composite with micro-cellular structure, the two phases with different melting point was carried out by spark plasma sintering technology. Since the ferrite ceramic coating layer has high resistivity and iron powders shows high saturation magnetization, soft magnetic composite with micro-cellular structure exhibit good soft magnetic properties.In this paper, preparation process of soft magnetic composite with micro-cellular structure was optimized by using ultrasonic vibration and liquid phase preparation method. The composite with uniform micro-cellular and coating layer was prepared. The resistivity of the sample had obvious improved.The special structure was study with the theory of crystallographic plane groups. The simulation model of soft magnetic composite with micro-cellular was built using rhombic dodecahedron. The model with limited micro-cellular was similarly seen as infinite micro-cellular model, which make the solving of electromagnetic field distribution of the soft magnetic composite with complex structure possible.To quantitative analysis the effect of parameters of raw materials to the properties of the sample, the particle size of metallic particles, the permeability of the metallic particles and coating layer, the resistivity of metallic particles and sample were changed in the simulated calculation.Through the simulated calculation, this paper gets the following conclusion:Coating materials to be used for preparing soft magnetic composite must have high permeability. On this basis, improve the permeability of metallic particles or reduce the volume fraction of coating layer can improve the permeability of the sample obvious. The eddy current loss of soft magnetic composites can be divided into inter-cellular eddy current loss and intra-cellular eddy current. The inter-cellular eddy current increases with the square of the frequency and the reciprocal of the resistivity of sample. The intra-cellular eddy current loss increases with the square of the particle size of metallic particles, the square of the frequency and the reciprocal of the resistivity of metallic particles. When higher sample resistivity, the eddy current loss is intra-cellular eddy current loss based.This study can offer reference for the subsequent development of the study of the properties of soft magnetic composite with micro-cellular structure. It also provides the basis and the new entry point for the subsequent development of excellent soft magnetic properties of soft magnetic composite.
