In this paper, glass fiber(GF) was treated with silane coupling agent. The treated glass fiber was blended with Poly amine 6(PA6) to prepare PA6\GF composite.1. Glass fiber(GF) was treated with different kinds of silane coupling agent,such as KH550、KH560、KH570、KH792、DL602.under the same conditions. The treated glass fiber was blended with Polyamine 6(PA6) to prepare PA6\GF composite. The influence of silane coupling agent species on the mechanical properties of PA6/GF composite was investigated. The results showed that all the silane coupling agent reacted with glass fiber. The amount of silane coupling agent on glass fiber were affected by the species of silane coupling agent. Composites with different kinds of silane coupling agent showed different properties. The elastic modulus and break strength of PA6/GF composite with glass fiber treated with KH550 showed the maximum value. The species of silane coupling agent showed little effect on the notched impact strength of PA6/GF composite.2.Glass fiber(GF) was treated with silane coupling agent. The results showed that the silane coupling agent reacted with glass fiber. The amount of silane coupling agent on glass fiber were affected by the concentration of silane coupling agent solution. The elastic modulus and break strength of PA6/GF composite increased,and then decreased, with the increment of silane coupling agent treating solution. The maximum value was observed at the concentration of 1.5%. The concentration of silane coupling agent showed little effect on the notched impact strength of PA6/GF composite.3.Use MAH grafted the glass fiber (GF) by silane coupling agent as bridge, MAH-KH570-GF was produced. The treated glass fiber was blended with Polyamine 6(PA6) to prepare PA6/GF composites. The influence of MAH on the mechanical properties of PA6/GF composite was investigated. The results showed that the MAH reacted with glass fiber. The elastic modulus and break strength of PA6/GF composite was increased after glass fiber treated with MAH. The surface treatent of GF showed little effect on the notched impact strength of PA6/GF composite.
