Water content in crude oil is an important indicator in the oil industry. Real-time detection of the rate of water content is of great significance to the knowledge of the amount of water produced in an oil field; to the determination of oil-yielding stratum; to the estimation of crude oil production; and to the prediction of the life of the oil field. Traditional detection method of water ratio of oil is time-consuming,costing or existing potential security issue,cannot meet the real-time detection and automated measurement requirements,so we design a automated detection system of water ratio in oil.In this paper,we introduce detection methods of water ratio in oil briefly, give the design proposal of detection control system of water ratio in oil. Designed the hardware circuit of core dashboard, including the circuit of microcontroller, the driver module of stepper motor, the level conversion circuit of RS232 and power module,the detailed design of the microcontroller software achived the stepper motor rotation,acquisited moisture data,the PC receiving and processing the command and so on.We give the softtware process of detection system of water ratio in oil on PC,including the design of interface,the control command to obtain and downlink,the water ratio data of oil acquisiting and processing and some other modules,achived the water ratio curve and the hierarchical representation of water and oil display Intuitively.Finally,through the actual testing,the result shows that this paper designed the detection system of water ratio in oil meet the design requirements.
