Nowadays, the special property of amphipathic block polymers’ self-assembly has captured people’s more and more attention. Amphipathic block polymers with kind of block or stem grafting could be self-assembly in certain solvents which has selectivity towards them, thus present micelle or nanometer nucleus that with various kinds and morphous. Thanks to this special property, these polymers have great potency on application to drugs, such as: delayed release and controlled release, genes transmission and so on.From the angle of structural design, this essay synthesis series of block polymers PMMA-PEG-PMMA and PSS-PEG-PSS with method of ATRP, allowing for unique ability of PEG, thus to obtain block polymers with different molecular weight. Besides, we explore in drugs’ encapsulation and metal ion response aspects.In drugs’ encapsulation, we establish PMMA-PEG-PMMA system to encapsule drug ivermectin, and determine with high performance liquid phase chromatograph, then we obtain a well encapsulation effect; meanwhile, we find another system PSSPEG-PSS have encapsulation complexation effect on heavy metal ion, this assay screen metal ion with better response effect, through s series of heavy metal ion light spectrum by UV-spectrum system.
