| In recent years, with the rapid development of China’s national economy and the increasing of the quality of life, social demand for oil and gas is also growing. However, the available amount of onshore oil and gas resources is dwindling, which promotes China’s offshore oil and gas exploration and development. Offshore drilling platform is the major offshore structures for oil and gas exploration and development. The platform is equipped with drilling, power, communications, navigation, safety and rescue, personnel living facilities and other equipment currently, most offshore drilling machinery has been switched into a variable frequency drive from DC drive. Among them, ACS800 series which is produced by ABB is most widely used. ACS800 series win universal favor by most offshore drilling platforms with its powerful features, superior DTC control technology, the modular and redundant design, compact structure and pulley design. ACS800 series are also combined with many technologies, including ABB PM864A PLC Systems, digital display system and site Profibus technology.In this study, the configuration and dual-motor synchronization problems in ACS800 drive have been explored. Then the interference and grounding problems in the application of ACS800 drive have been investigated. Firstly, the rectifier unit, inverter unit, braking unit and the works of PLC controller network in ACS800 drive has been systematically analyzed. Secondly, based on the introduction of the ACS800 drive applications analyzed the inverter direct torque control technology and application macros. Thirdly the implementation of dual-motor synchronous speed in drawworks has been especially explored, with the example of the application of dual-motor synchronous system in drawworks. And the common faults in the application process of dual-motor synchronous speed in drawworks have been also summarized. Lastly, the importance of grounding has been emphasized by the study of interference and grounding problems in the application of ACS800 drive. The electromagnetic Interference Problems and Solutions in the application of CPOE5 drilling platform since its production have also been summarized. |
