The factories whose main business is to deal with coal bed methane(CBM) are basically located in the remote area, where transportation is inconvenient and topography is complicated. Similar as the oil business, after the development of putting into production, its daily work includes lots of areas, such as fracture, pipeline construction, pumping equipment, station construction and maintenance, equipment maintenance etc. And the risk tasks like aerial work, temporary power, hot work, lifting, transport and confined space entry are day-to-day work. The CBM production management not only has the general feature such as widely production site area, relative concentration of workers, frequent works, material handling difficulties and complex geological conditions, but also has the risk of poisoning, fire and explosion and gas leak. Due to the difficulties in managing and lots unforeseen factors, a slight oversight may easily cause many kinds of accidents like environment pollution, fire and exploration. Thus, under the premise of the production policies of “Safety is important, precaution goes first and comprehensive treatment follows”, it’s very important to strengthen the CBM enterprise safety management and improve the level of safety evaluation in the process of CBM produce.With reference to newest edition “Oil Industry Standardized Scoring Method of Onshore Gas Production Safety, this paper established the comprehensive evaluation system of CBM business about production safety, and confirmed the weights of each index in evaluation index system. Aiming at the problem about binary comparison matrix inconsistence in computing index system weights in Analytic Hierarchy Process, this paper proposed and adopted the intelligent algorithm to correct inconsistent binary comparison matrix, calculated more accurate index weights and set up suitable comprehensive evaluation model. The safety condition of a CBM product business was evaluated with our model, its safety level was confirmed, and the specific safety suggestion was put forward.
