Internal fluidization distribution of water medium fluidized bed separator is the research foundation of water medium fluidized bed coarse slim separation. Internal fluidization distribution of water medium fluidized bed separator was researched to find the distribution rule of laboratory index n value, interfered settling velocity, solid volume concentration of separator and coarse slime density by analyzing the force of coarse coal particles and determining the interfered settling velocity. Coarse slime of 2.0~1.0mm 3.0~2.0mm, 1.0~0.25 mm from Nanshan coal preparation plant was experimented in this paper. With the increase of flow velocity the change of size bed expansion degree is more obvious with the smaller of the coarse slime particle. Experimental index n increases with increasing of interfered settling velocity, decreases with increasing the fine coal slime content and coarse slime particle size. Particle size of 1~0.25 mm coarse slime interfered settling velocity was 29.47~88.42mm/s, particle size of 1~0.25 mm coarse slime interfered settling velocity was 39.30~108.07mm/s, particle size of 1~0.25 mm coarse slime interfered settling velocity was 249.12~137.54mm/s, in the solid volume concentration of this experiment.On the basis of laboratory research, coarse slime was sampled and analyzed from LHC-2400 water medium fluidized bed separator which is industrializing in order to further study the fluidization of the water medium fluidized bed separation. The analysis results show that coarse slime volume concentration decreases with the increase of bed height, fine coal volume concentration increases with the increase of bed height when LHC-2400 water medium fluidized bed separate coarse slime. The height of 0~600mm is gangue zone, the height of 600~1300mm is fluidized classification zone, the height of 1300 mm is overflow zone. There is obvious separating strip between gangue layer and separation layer which beneficial to the separation of separator. The density of coarse coal slime distributed higher than 600 mm remained at 1.3g/cm3, on the contrary, the density of coarse coal slime distributed less than 600 mm increased dramatically. The significant difference between the two is beneficial to separation for coarse coal slime.
