Research On Automatic Control Of Sludge Water Flow And Moisture Expert System

Moisture content in sinter mixture directly influences the output and the quality of sintering. Suitable moisture content contributes to pelletize and improves the gas permeability of the sinter mixture. The background is moisture control program of 265 m2 in the first sinter production department of Tianjin Steel Group. The researcher analyzes the automatic control of sludge water flow and moisture expert system and correspondingly designs an effective moisture detection and control system for this program.The study starts with sintering process which has close relationship with sinter mixture moisture, and finds out the difficult points of moisture control through the analysis of the influence of moisture on sintering mixing process. Then the study finishes the program of automatic control of sludge water flow and the design of moisture control expert system. In the second place, the study sets up the equipment of sinter mixture’s moisture in the engineering application. By means of analyzing the conductivity moisture meter and near-infrared moisture meter on the site, the researcher improves the detection of moisture meter, thus offer the basic guarantee for the system running smoothly. Meanwhile, by means of investigating the first sinter production department’s process conditions of Tianjin Steel Group, the study finishes the configuration of the hardware equipments and accomplishes the automatic control of sludge water flow and moisture expert system.This system is mainly composed of two parts. The first part is the automatic control of sludge water flow which works on the traditional PID scheme; the second part is moisture expert control system that uses the self-adaption feed forward model control, identification model design, fuzzy feedback, mainly completing the upper unit state picture, expert system hint, moisture identification, scripting etc.The moisture control system is successfully applied in the program launched in the first sinter production department of Tianjin Steel Group and the worksite’s feedback is very good, and the design meets the industry technology standard.
