In recent years, with the rapid development of automation of industrial control, automation of machinery running becomes higher and higher, people have new requirement for the maintenance of scientific equipment and accuracy of the assessment of the degree of fatigue, and oil in the machinery contains information that can well react to the health and fatigue degree of machinery running, within which the number of particles in oil can be one of the important criteria that reacts to the various running conditions of machinery. The analyses of particles in oil can guide us to scientifically replace oil and maintain equipment. Therefore, designing a detecting system that can detect the number of particles in oil will greatly improve productivity.With Ti AM3359 chip as being the core processing platform of lower computer, this paper achieves a detecting system based on an embedded system development platform. By collecting the output signal of oil particles which are constantly detected by the sensor of oil particles getting through the passage, we can detect the size and number of various particles of oil quickly and in time, then the detecting outcome can finally be sent to host computer through Ethernet port of AM3359 chip, through which maintenance personnel can observe detecting outcome with host computer. Following sections are contained in this paper.Firstly, the basic characteristics of oil particle signals that are output by the oil particle sensor are introduced, and then give solutions to each problem faced in the oil particle detecting system in the actual application process.Secondly, two types of noise of the detecting system are introduced in this paper, and introduce algorithms to specially remove the noises, and the two algorithms are simulated in MATLAB environment, and it is found that the two algorithms used in this paper can well remove the noises in the oil particles detecting signals.Again, this paper describes the design and implementation of hardware and software. In hardware design implementation, the author introduces the division of the whole system, and illustrates the functions that need to be implemented. In the software design and implementation part, the two aspects of the system are introduced in detail: Embedded system software and PC software. Embedded system software includes: oil particle signal acquisition module, vibration interference noise removal module, Gaussian white noise removal module, oil particle signal recognition module, data transmission module, moreover, this part introduces the design and realization of these modules. The realization of host computer part of oil particle detecting system uses Flash Actionscript3 language; host computer mainly realizes data request module, data analysis module and data display module.Finally, oil particle detecting system is tested, and the detecting results are presented.
