The instruments are turning more and more precision and efficient with the development of technology, and they require more efficient heat exchange instrument. Developing new type of heat transfer medium is an effective and feasible research direction to improve the heat exchange equipment heat transfer ability. The nanofluid is a kind of new material in the current study, which spreads the nanoscale metal and nonmetal into the traditional heat-transfer medium, and improves thermal conduction properties drastically.This paper studies the plate type solar water heater. To research and analysis the dispersion and stability (nanoparticles’geometry size, disperse state, Clusters features, etc) of the graphene oxide nanoparticles in the base fluid and determine the relationship between thermal conductivity and viscosity of nanofluids with the content of nanoparticles and temperature, we add graphene oxide into antifreeze. Hope to develop a new multi-function type of heat-transfer cycle working medium that combines economy, stability, frost resistance and high thermal conductivity. The results show that grephene oxide nanofluid (0.02vol%-0.2vol%) could enhance the thermal conductivity of 0.95% to 10.2%.
