The Study On The Factors Of Wax Crystallization Process In Butanone-Toluene Unit

In recent years, with the shortage of the high viscosity base oil and bright stock in China and the increase of the market demand day by day, the development of the high viscosity of base oil and bright oil will gain higher economic benefit. However, as the varieties of the imported crude oil change constantly, the quality and properties of the product produced by the original "old process of lube oil" devices gradually becomes poorer and poorer, so in order to follow to the overall layout of lubricating oil development ideas of the company, and to produce qualified products. It is imperative to upgrade the quality of the lube base oil and implement some technical transform measures.In this paper, our tests were performed on lube base oil production with vacuum cut 3, cut 4 and light deasphalted oil from LinShang oil. We adopt the technical routes of "shallow furfural refining, hydrotreating processing and toluene-butanone making unit", and focus on the most critical toluene-butanone making unit in the "old process of lube oil" devices and implement some technical transform measures. To meet the needs of the quality, we adopt the methods of cooling oil, filtrate circulation, cold backwashing technique to produce qualified products after all the technical transform measures.After all the technical transform measures, we produce high quality heavy lube base oil 150000 tons, eliminate inferior lube base oil 100000 tons. We can produce HVI150BSⅡ light oil 4～50000 tons/year by using light solvent deasphalting oil, we can also produce more 60#,64# refined wax and 64# crystallite wax which the market is relatively tight. So this project can greatly improve the economic benefit of the company, build the production base of 150000 tons/year high-grade heavy lube base oil and light oil. This can lay the foundation for the lubricating oil development of Sinopec.Crude distillation, catalytic, asphalt, coking and lubricating oil matching well can truly achieve the combination of petroleum and chemical, the success of oil and wax and comprehensive development of a 5 million tons/year of oil refinery, which should be the direction of company development.
