Recent years, with the rapid economic development, China’s water environment suffer from serious pollution and destruction of surface water contamination of problems have become increasingly prominent. Ammonia nitrogen as a product of microbial decomposition of organic matter in water, its content will directly reflect the extent of water pollution suffered by the outside world, and is an important indicator to judge the water level by the degree of pollution. The presence ammonia nitrogen in water sources in favor of nitrification bacteria and denitrifying bacteria in water treatment and water distribution systems and structures in growth, reducing the raw water quality, increasing the difficulty of treating water. Hence the need to strengthen the detection of ammonia nitrogen pollution and pollution prevention and control, in order to ensure that the urban water supply. As the only surface water Yinchuan, Helan landscape plants are also facing the raw water ammonia nitrogen pollution problems. The ammonia nitrogen in source water removal to explore and study the use of water treatment process existing,to ensure the security of water supply in Yinchuan, has very important significance to safeguard the health of the people.In this study, ammonia nitrogen detection methods currently widely used in the country-Nessler reagent colorimetric Helan landscape plant process processing ammonia nitrogen concentration of the key aspects of water monitoring. Helan calculated water plant related to ammonia in the water removal process, water treatment technology to explore the best aspects and efficiency of ammonia nitrogen removal. Meanwhile, various zeolites high concentrated ammonia nitrogen removal efficiency ammonia nitrogen in water were analyzed and compared. Studies have shown that zeolite water ammonia nitrogen removal effect is obvious. Zeolite ammonia nitrogen concentration in water samples adsorption capacity and initial concentration of ammonia nitrogen in water samples is related with the increase of the concentration of ammonia nitrogen in water samples, zeolite adsorption capacity steadily increased ammonia- nitrogen in water samples. Under the same conditions, zeolite ammonia nitrogen removal efficiency in the order of modified zeolite sodium chloride, hydrochloric acid-modified zeolites, sodium hydroxide modified zeolite, a natural zeolite, aluminum trichloride modified zeolite. This result shows that when the Helan landscape plant source water into the factory before the ammonia nitrogen content is too high, you can use the water resource by adding zeolite and modified zeolite methods to solve the water treatment process can not effectively remove high concentrations of ammonia nitrogen water the problem of excessive ammonia nitrogen levels in the water.
