Research Of Short-cycle Overlaying Press’s Design And It’s Frame Optimization

In recent years, with the development of artificial board and furniture market in China, the artificial board overlaying technology, as the main way to improve the wood-based panel product add itional value, is drawing more and more attention by enterprises. The short-cycle overlaying press is one of the main equipment of short-cycle press line, the design and research of short- cycle overlaying press has important theoretical and practical value. The main contents and work of this paper are listed below:(1)In combination with the enterprise’s existing design, the overall concept design of the short-cycle press was put forward. The basic design and functions of the main components of frame unit, hydraulic system unit and auxiliary unit three part of press were introduced, it main principle and overall arrangement were also discussed together.(2) In order to ensure the rationality of press’ s design, from a theoretical perspective, the selection and calculation of the key components of this short-cycle press were introduced to lay a foundation for 3D modeling.(3) The Solidworks software was used to build 3D models of key components and general assembly of the short cycle overlaying press. After modeling, we used the “interference check” module of Solidworks to check the press’ s condition of interference to ensure there is no interference phenomenon occurred in assembly, and verify the structure design are re asonable.(4) The finite element analysis software ANSYS Workbench was been used to analysis the frame plate of short-cycle press, obtained the frame’s stress and displacement distribution nephogram, find out the stress concentration position. Through the optimization of the frame plate, understanding the relationship between the design variables and the stress/displacement. Finally realized the optimization design that, the frame weight loss of 12.7% under the condition of ensuring the frame’s strength and stiffness.(5) In order to improve the future short-cycle press’ s design efficiency, we used the Solid Works Drive Works Xpress to parametric design the main frame structure of press, and verified its accuracy. It can greatly reduce the enterprise’s development cycle, and effectively improve the designers’ efficiency.
