Ionic liquids have lots of properties such as good solubility, high thermal stability, low vapor pressure, wide liquid temperature range, Wide range of electrochemical window, easy recycling, environmentally friendly and so on. Ionic liquids can be used as a solvent or catalyst in organic synthesis, which have been widely used. The acidic of Br?nsted acidic ionic liquids can be modulated by modifying the structures of anion and cation. In addition, room temperature ionic liquids have acidic uniform and high acidity density characteristics. Therefore, Ionic liquids are increasingly concerned about. We designed and synthesized a series of three functional Br?nsted acidic ionic liquids, and continue to study part of the catalytic properties of ionic liquids.First, three functional Br?nsted acidic ionic liquids were synthesised by two steps. Including functionalized imidazole bisulfate ionic liquids, functionalized imidazole trifluoroacetate and functionalized imidazole toluenesulfonate ionic liquids. We successfully synthesized a total of 21 kinds of ionic liquids and studied the properties of their solubility, thermal stability and conductivity. We studied the catalytic properties of ionic liquids through synthesizing 1,3-propane quinoline and its derivatives which have potential drug activity. After a series of experimental studies, the optimal reaction condition: Br?nsted acidic ionic liquid [BEIM][p-CH3PhSO3], catalysed the reaction 48 h at120 oC, without solvent or in toluene, and a series of 1, 3-di(2-quinolyl) propane compounds were gotted by the yield of 56% ~ 92% under this conditions. The method is simple, high yield and environmentally friendly. Finally, We studied the catalytic properties of ionic liquids through synthesizing aminonaphthol compounds which have potential drug activity. After a series of experimental studies, the optimal reaction condition: Br?nsted acidic ionic liquid[DC2O2IM][HSO4], catalysed the reaction 10 min at 90 oC, without solvent, and a series of 1, 3-di(2-quinolyl) propane compounds were gotted by the yield of 63% ~ 96% under this conditions. The method is simple, high yield,Less time consuming and environmentally friendly.
