Mining dump truck is extremely easy to generate larger vibration under a variety of external and internal incentives because of carrying large quantity and poor working conditions, it will seriously affect the ride comfort, has important engineering significance to the study of mining dump truck vibration damping performance.This paper studies the vibration problems of a 70 ton wide body mining dump truck in the work through the ride comfort test on the mining road. This paper analyzed the acceleration RMS and power spectrum density of the vibration isolation system at different levels, and concluded that the poor vibration damping performance of suspension system lead to mining dump truck vibrating acutely; This paper established the dynamic model of mining dump truck and makes a simulation through using MATLAB/Simulink software for the vibration characteristic of mining dump truck, by comparing with the experimental data, the correctness of the model is verified; This paper analyzed the influence of stiffness and damping parameters of suspension system on vehicle ride comfort, proposed improvement scheme and determined the parameters to improve the suspension vibration performance through the simulation. The conclusion of this paper to improve the mining truck damping performance has a certain reference significance.
