The studies of harmful effect of blasting engineering are mainly focused on blasting vibration. However, the studies of blasting vibration about the influence on the ground structure are far more than the studies about underground structure. This study is based on the blasting vibration and strain of underground pipelines detections in the project which name is high speed rail shantytown smooth project in Dalong economic development zone. The experiment aims at the contraction between the blasting vibration propagation and axial and circumferential strain of underground pipes by using TC-4850 N blasting vibration tester and DH3820 static strain measurement system according to the actual situation. Through the analysis and research of the experimental results, reveals the influence of blasting vibration to underground pipes. And it puts forward the method that to control the harmful effects of blasting vibration, and the prediction method of damage risk of underground pipeline. The research results are as follows:(1) Confirmed the blasting vibration causes axial and circumferential strain of undergroundpipeline.(2) Research and analysis the relationship between blasting vibration peak velocities andstrain of underground pipelines.(3) It shows exponential relationship between blasting vibration peak velocity and axial andcircumferential strain of corresponding underground pipelines. Predict the maximumsurface peak velocity of underground pipes by regression analysis of vibrationmonitoring and the exponential relationship between peak velocity and strain.(4) To predict maximum tolerable peak blasting vibration velocity of the underground pipeswhich were buried around blasting areas, it has important significance to blastingconstruction design.(5) The underground pipes which within 50 meters to blasting area were affectedsignificantly by blasting vibration, while the influence reduced greatly 50 meters away.
