With applications gravure products more widely, gravure printing techniques continue to improve, the quality of products is gravure eye more stringent. Although there are many foreign scholars in science and technology gravure quality testing has been done a lot of research, but the results are still many quality testing defects. To further control the quality of gravure printing products, paper gravure understanding of the current status of the development of the industry as well as on the basis of the existence of the problem, devised a statistical threshold based on the quality gravure method of detection algorithms. Firstly, in the introduction, the research background and significance of this paper, methods and objectives of the study, as well as domestic and foreign research summarized the main content and framework of this study gravure analysis. Then it analyzes the relevant concepts and theories gravure quality. Gravure related concepts include: Gravure concept print quality content and the main content gravure quality control and the like. Then print quality management theory analysis from both modern and traditional. Then it analyzes the development status of China’s gravure quality control and problems. Including the development of gravure printing industry, gravure technology trends and future products mainly gravure quality problems. Gravure major quality problems include: back-sticky and solvent residue, high light small dot missing dots and color contamination. Then focus on the quality of gravure many design method based on the statistical threshold gravure quality detection algorithm. Image enhancement and noise removal, image matching templates to create and locate related algorithms: image preprocessing algorithm first technology-related analysis. After pretreatment, two-way analysis of poor shadow of the printed image and defect images connected domain. Then analyzed using a statistical method and determine the threshold grayscale images, design quality threshold detection algorithm based on statistical methods. After the above analysis, a gravure printing method and quality control countermeasures.
