With the rapid economic development of the growing demand for energy, at present, China’s thermal power generation accounted for all of theabove energy eighty percent,the consumption of coal resources is very great.However, relatively easy mining opencast coal mine and shallow mining coal mine is completed or running out, the existing production cannot meet the rapid development of economy, therefore it is necessary to speed up the deep coal mining.The mine rail transport is the main underground locomotivetransportation facilities, the high performance of the locomotive is benefit to improve theproduction efficiency and economic benefits,but the existing DC and AC traction motor efficiency has been to achieve the ultimate, very little space for improvement.Permanent magnet synchronous motor has the advantages of small volume, high efficiency, high power density, low loss and so on,in particular, the development of inverter technology, the rapid development of permanent magnet synchronous motor drivingdevice, application in the coalmine is also more and more.This article is mine locomotive permanent magnet synchronous traction motor transport body design, the main work is mainly motor sizing calculation, performance calculation, finite element simulation, the optimization of cogging torque and loss analysis and calculation.The article is mine transport traction motor body design and analysis,according to the technical requirements todesigna 30 KW explosion proof type permanent magnet synchronous traction motor. First of all, this paper introduces the background and significance of the subject, analysis of the current situation of mine motor and permanent magnet synchronous motor as traction motors advantage. Secondly, analyzed the workingprinciple of permanent magnet synchronous motor and basic circuitcalculation,detailed analysis of the design process and the main motor sizing calculation,application RMxprt calculation of the electromagnetic parameters. Thirdly, the software of Ansoft Maxwell2 D to establish the finite element model, then conduct the static and transient finite element simulation, further study theperformanceof no-load and load, used magnetic pole packet offsetand magnetic subsection in circle two methods to to optimal design of the motorcogging, the result of the motor performance are more excellent. Finally, loss analysis and calculation of the motor is designed in this paper, focus are on copper loss and iron loss calculation, we all know, the core of the magnetic flux density amplitude are different at different position, so divided into six different core areas,finite element simulation method to get the flux density the waveform distribution of the various regions in order to calculate the iron losses each region, eventually get the whole motor iron loss.
