Cemented carbide tool steel such as M330 and SDK-11, is widely used in many fields such as aerospace, machinery manufacturing, electronics, military and so on for its excellent mechanical properties of high hardness, wear resistance and toughness. It becomes so difficult to complete the alloy steel’s grinding and finishing for the high hardness, lower thermal conductivity and elastic modulus of its surface. When adopting traditional grinding method to grind cemented carbide, workpiece often is in a state of low temperature tempering, so it tends to produce grinding cracking, scratches and burns. Grinding cemented carbide surface workpiece with flexible abrasive can maintain stable pressure in the surface contact point and uniform removal of residues. However, in the actual machining, grinding mechanism between the flexible abrasive and workpiece is very complex. After grinding the workpiece quality is affected by many factors, and the relationship between grinding parameters and the grinding effect is not clear. The phenomenon of chipping adhesion and grinding burn in machining process make the further research on the grinding process parameters harder. So the improvement of grinding process and the research of the relationship between the parameters and the grinding result has very important significance.The article aim at the improvement of the flexible abrasive grinding cemented carbide and use high speed fluid injection method. The method inject cutting liquid into the grinding zone through a high pressure nozzle with high speed for improving the lubrication of grinding zone and cooling grinding condition, and cleaning up flexible abrasive at the same time. O n this basement the study of the relationship between grinding parameters and grinding result will be taken and the optimal combination of grinding parameters will be confirmed. First of all, the performance parameter sample in the experiment to grinding were discussed, a reasonable choice ?of grinding machine, flexible abrasive and cutting fluid according to the experimental requirements and practical machining processing equipment. Secondly, the orthogonal experiment is designed by taking the abrasive diameter, the setting grinding depth, feed speed, jet velocity as the influence factors and the surface roughness as grinding effect index in the experiment. The order of grinding result and the optimization of grinding parameters combinatorial will be obtained according to the analysis of experimental results. Finally, the experiment data were analyzed by the grey incidence analysis theory, and the grinding parameters degree of influence on surface roughness based on the analysis of various factors, the results evaluation of the degree of influence on surface roughness the optimization of grind ing parameters combination will be obtained. The optimal combination of grinding parameters obtained by orthogonal experiment and the grey incidence analysis will be experimental verification, and the grinding parameters combination will be further optimized through the single factor experiment. Eventually the grinding parameters combination obtained in the end will be used in grinding and can improve the quality of grinding while improving machining efficiency.
