Raw materials of cathode copper for production secondary copper concentrate with nickel smelting of Jinchuan corporation, the crude Cu containing high nickel produce by fire system with the characteristics of poor physical appearance, low grade of copper and nickel is higher, at the same time, in the conventional electrolytic process of high nickel copper anode, will easy appear the difficulties like anode passivation, the high rate of anode slime, problem of anode slime sedimentation, additives control problems in the process of production. So that, this paper focus on the optimize to the production process of A grade electrolytic copper by Crude Cu containing high nickel, under the condition of the nickel 25 g/L, and current density 240 A/m2, analysis the impact of the characteristics and composition of the electrolyte, the form of the impurities in occurrence of electrolyte, electrolyte circulation method of controlling the process conditions for the quality of cathode copper. Research results shows that, the concentration of H2SO4 170~190 g/L, Cu2 + 45~50g/L, the electrolyte temperature of60~65℃, electrolyte circulation volume of 25~35L/min per slot, add the ADT additives,gelatin, thiourea and hydrochloric acid in proportion, would product the cathode copper with well physical quality, and the chemical composition to meet the national A level standard brass. Meanwhile, add the devices for cooling and decompress respectively for the purification system in vacuum evaporation process, design and production electric heating evaporation for liquid device,add the guide plate in the electric evaporative cooling crystallization machine, can improve the efficiency of the evaporation production, prolong the service life of equipment. The expand experimental resultssuggests that the pass rate of the cathode copper can reach more than 96.5%. The technology has comprehensive application in Jinchuan company, obtain good economic efficiency and social benefits, has widely application foreground.
