The research of thermal stress damage of nanosecond pulse laser irradiation aramid fibers reinforced nitrile butadiene rubber matrix composites had been studied in this paper.Aramid fibers reinforced nitrile butadiene rubber matrix composites irradiated by fiber laser,and the frequency of laser been constantly raised in the experient to make the composites damage gradually deepened.To analysis by processing the spectral data to get the composites temperature of irradiation area after the experiment,and combine with the composites samples of after ablation by microscope and scanning electron microscope.Based on experiments and utilization the theory of heat conduction and thermal elastic mechanics,the physical model of nanosecond pulsed laser irradiate aramid fibers reinforced nitrile butadiene rubber matrix composites was established. The heat conduction equation and stress balance equation had been solved by this model. Through repeated coordinate the relationship between the time step and the mesh generation, the transient temperature field and stress field of aramid fibers reinforced nitrile butadiene rubber matrix composites by laser irradiation had been obtained.
