With the rapid development of aerospace, wind power, nuclear power, ocean engineering and auto industry, more large precision CNC machine tools are needed. The precision of guide rail is the base of that of machine tools. The large CNC gantry rail grinder is the key techniques to realize the high precision grinding of guide rail. The research and development capabilities of the large CNC gantry rail grinder influence the equipment manufacturing industry.The CNC system which is currently used, such as the CNC system used on CNC lathe, CNC mill, CNC machining center is universal. Special CNC systems are needed for the large roll grinder, cam grinder, crank shaft grinder, special machining center and the gantry rail grinder which is the object of study of this paper.This thesis researched the structure, processing technology, and key control techniques for gantry rail grinder according to the demand for grinding of large rail and other similar parts. Aimed at realizing the intelligent grinding and automated grinding, this thesis designed a special CNC system for gantry rail grinder.The function of convex and concave grinding are realized by using the following control function of HNC8. The workbench are driven by frequency servo hydraulic system to reduce the loss of energy. Electronic level meter is used to measure the tilt value and adapt the crossbeam to be horizontal. Double-Channel control technique is used to increase the efficiency. This thesis designed a special CNC system to exchange data with the grinding process intelligent application system so as to determine the grinding process. |
