Organophosphate chemical closely related to human life, has important applications in all aspects of agriculture, biotechnology, medicine, etc., especially related to the chiral phosphorus-containing compound and more attention. This paper first discusses the study of chiral phosphorus compounds background and significance. The main content can be summarized as the following five parts:The first part of this paper, followed with the introduction of modified method for synthesis of O-menthyl(RP)-phenylphosphinate. The second part, allyl α-hydroxy phosphine oxides have been obtained by the steteoselective addition of O-menthyl(RP)-phenylphosphinate, which has up to drP >99:1, to cinnanaldehyde derivatives and aldehydes that have C=O bonds to be addited. Part three, referring Appel reaction conditions, complete the transition from α-hydroxy allyl phosphate as γ-chloro-γ, β-unsaturated phosphate reaction by one-step reaction, and proposed reaction mechanism “phosphonium salt-induced rearrangement of allyl”. Part four, exploration and study of the reaction of phosphine oxide compounds from α-chlorinated phosphate by Kumada coupling, the result of reaction of phosphine oxide compounds in up to drP, drc >92:8. Part five, hydroxyl phosphorus compound as a raw material for preparing novel H-phosphine reagent, further study and exploration of synthesis of novel H-phosphine reagent. In this paper, synthesis of O-menthyl(RP)-phenylphosphinate as a starting point, a series of new compounds containing P-C bond, C-C bond are synthesized.
