The chamber with large section, which serve for the whole district for special use,generally located in a complex mechanical enviroment for concentrated arrangement with multi roadways and chambers and the effect of permanent support diectly decides effciency product of mining.Conveyor head chamber used to set in terminal of district rise or district dip, which is a significant part of conveyor system.Based on the study on the surrounding rock stability anlysis and its control technology of conveyor head chamber in 25 mining district of Gaocheng coal mine, firstly, elastic model mechanics calculation and numerical simulation on Coulomb Mohr’s criterion are used to analyze the influence of the factors on the chambers’ mechanics environment, such as dimension of chamber, aspect ratio and location of adjacent chamber. Semi-infinite elasticity theory is applied to obtain the distribution laws of one side emptied coal pillar abutment pressure in the floor strata. Then, field investigation is applied, the geological and mining conditions of conveyor head chamber in 25 mining district, deformation and failure characteristics and its main influencing factors of conveyor head chamber in 25 mining district are obtained. Numerical simulation measure is used to comparatively analyse the change of surrounding rock plastic zone area, surrounding rock deformation and maximum principal stress under the influence of conveyor drive head chamber structure, multi roadway around the chamber and tectonic stress field. Next, based on the above studies, the full section support technology with high strength bolt-mesh-anchor and full sectional grouting reinforcement and high strength bolt-mesh-anchor floor support is put forward and the mechanism of support technology is analyzed. The effectiveness of the technology on the surrounding rock control of conveyor head chamber in 25 mining district with large section is verified by numerical simulation.At last, according to the geological and mining conditions of conveyor head chamber in 25 mining district and the mechanism of full section support technology, the support scheme and support parameters are determined, the industrial test is conducted, and the good results ara achieved.
