Functional Coordination polymers are of great interest in recent years because of their aesthetic structures and potential applications on gas storage, separation, catalysis, the luminescence, magnetism, drug delivery and so on. Therefore, it has become the hotspot of material science.This paper on the basis of the principle of crystal engineering, starting from the functional perspective of application materials, the design and synthesis of organic ligands, the application of metal organic framework materials design synthesis strategy, study on the synthesis rules, and study on its functional properties. This thesis presents the design and synthesis of two novel fluorene organic ligands: 2,7′-bis(4-pyridineyl)fluorene, 2,7′-bis(4-pyridineyl)-9,9′-bis(hydroxyethyl)fluorene. Two novel organic ligands, and the simple structure of carboxylic acids as the auxiliary ligands, with the metal ions assembled several coordination polymers by solvent thermal method under proper conditions. They are characterized and analyzed by X- ray single crystal diffraction, elemental analysis and infrared spectra respectively. Application of solid powder diffraction(PXRD) detect on its purity, using thermogravimetric analysis the thermal stability of law, luminescence properties and fluorescence lifetime are determined by fluorescence spectrophotometric methods. In addition, we have studied the photodegradation experiment based on the concept of environmental protection, doing the photocatalytic degradation of methyl blue dye pollutants activity test. This paper is divided into several parts of the chapter:First, some concepts of coordination polymers and research backgrounds are briefly introduced. Methods of synthesis, synthesized factors and potential applications of coordination polymers are introduced. We are proposed the selected topic basis, objective and the research contents of this thesis based on it;Second, design, synthesis and select the 2,7’-bis(4-pyridineyl)fluorene as organic ligand, four novel structures of coordination polymers were synthesized in the Zn(II) involved in the acid and salt were 1,4-naphthalene(NDA), terephthalic acid(BDC), 2-amino terephthalic acid(NH2-BDC), 5-Methylisophthalic acid(5-CH3-BDC) assisted ligands in solvothermal reaction: {[Zn2(BPF)(NDA)2]}n. Guest(1), {[Zn2(BPF)(NH2-BDC)2]}n· Guest(2),{[Zn2(BPF)(BDC)2]}n· Guest(3), {[Zn2(BPF)2(5-CH3-BDC)2]} n· Guest(4), they were characterized, the element determination, IR structure, solid powder PXRD purity test and thermal stability analysis were separately determined. Finally, the luminescence properties of four coordination polymers were studied and the coordination polymer fluorescence was lifetime, which {[Zn2(BPF)(NH2-BDC)2]}n· Guest of methylene blue under visible light photo degradation of 3 hours of solution efficiency is up to 50%;Three, 2,7’-bis(4-pyridineyl)-9,9’-bis(hydroxyethyl)fluorene organic ligand has been synthesized in the number 9 position on the introduction of the two hydroxyethyl based on 2,7’-bis(4-pyridineyl)fluorene organic ligand. Under solvothermal conditions, 2,7’-bis(4-pyridineyl)-9,9’-bis(hydroxyethyl)fluorene added to the metal salt, the auxiliary ligand 2,7-fluorene acid of solution obtained two novel structure with 3-D frame structure of coordination polymers: {[Zn2(BPHF)(DFC)2]}n. Guest(5)、{[Co(BPHF)(DFC)2]}n. Guest(6),We briefly analyzed the spatial structure of crystal and predicted their performance.
