Firstly, A amine sulphonate was prepared by 1,3-propane sultone and polyetheramine D230. Using the amine sulphonate as ahydrophilic monomer, a series of dual anionic reactive epoxy resin emulsifier based on sulphonate was prepared, reacting with a bisphenol A type epoxy resin on different epoxy equivalent. Preliminary study on process parameters of the reaction temperature, reaction time and reaction solvent was got. The structure of the product was characterized by IR spectroscopy. The surface tension and emulsifying capacity of the emulsifiers were tested. The results show that the optimum reaction temperature is 80℃, the optimum reaction time is 3-4h, the optimum solvent is the mixture of ethylene glycol monobutyl ether with ethanol(mass ratio 2:1). the synthetic emulsifiers can preferably reduce the surface tension of water. The emulsifier(hydrophobic segment is E20) having a hydrophilic-lipophilic segment balance has a best emulsifying ability for E51 epoxy resins, And when the content of emulsifier is 17.62%, the prepared emulsion has a partcile size of 165.9nm, maintaining the best stability. with the increase of the content of the emulsifier, the average particle diameter and stability of the emulsion tend to be constant. Then, Reacting hydroxyethyl acrylate with m-Phenylenediamine by michael additon reaction, The reaction consumed part of primary amine, maintaining curing agent water soluble. The structure of the curing agent was characterized by IR spectroscopy. Mixed the curing agent with homemade E51 epoxy resin emulsion. Discussing the effects of the hydroxyethyl acrylate addition amount on film properties, The results show that when the molar ratio of HEA: MXDA is 1:1, the obtained two-component epoxy coatings has the best films properties and pot life. Finally, Waterborne epxoy resin with different BGE and F51 content was prepared by using dual anionic reactive emulsifier based on sulphonate(hydrophobic segment is E20). Mixing the waterborne epoxy resin with the hydroxy ethyl acrylate modified curing agent(molar ratio HEA: MXDA=1:1), confecting a type II waterborne two-component epoxy coatings, Studying the effects of F51, BGE addition amount in the waterborne epoxy resin on waterborne two-component epoxy coating properties, Discussing the influence of different epoxy / amine hydrogen equivalence ratio on film properties waterborne two-component epoxy coating properties. The film forming mechanism of two-component epoxy coatings was analyzed, The thermal performance of paint film was studied by thermogravimetric analysis instrument. The results show that, when BGE was added to the amount of 10%, F51 was added to amount of 15%, the epoxy / amine hydrogen equivalence ratio is 1:1, the film has the best comprehensive performance: the pencil hardness reaches 2H, flexibility is 1mm, the adhesion is up to level 1, the impact resistance goes to 50 cm, and the water resistance of coating film has no blister in 6 days, the pot life is 2-3h. When the temperature was below 280℃, the prepared film has a good thermal stability.
