With the maturation of high-power LED technology, LED lighting is more and more widely used, But the LED light source has the disadvantage of high directivity, so to find a way to improve the uniformity of the LED light is currently one of the hotspots. Therefore, the preparation and using in high-power LED lighting systems of high-performance light-scattering material have important practical value.This paper prepares 1~5um poly-siloxane microspheres(MPSQ) and polyvinylsiloxane microspheres(VPSQ) by methyl trimethoxysilane(MTMS) and vinyl trimethoxysilane(VTMS), and characterizes the microsphere morphology, size distribution of the microspheres by SEM, FT-IR and the other texting techniques, and discusses the influences of p H and no/nw to the microspheres. Light diffusing plate is prepared by the microspheres and polymethyl methacrylate(PMMA). And the influence of doping radio and particle size to transmittance and haze of the plates is discussed.The results show that at the same ratio of nw and no, the factors descending order to the diameter are: the p H of the polymerization process, the hydrolysis time, the polymerization time, the p H of the hydrolysis process, and the factor which impacts the morphology of the microspheres the most is nw/no. Under other conditions remain unchanged, the size of the microspheres are smaller and the uniformity are better as the increasing of the p H, but the effect of p H to uniformity is little. When the p H is between 7 to 10 during the condensation, good dispersion microspheres can be observed, and when the p H is less than 7, the microspheres can not be a ball, but condensed silica gel like viscous substance. Under other conditions remain unchanged, with the increase of the no/nw, the uniform of the microspheres decreases rapidly, agglomeration becomes more obvious.With increasing particle size, reducing the addition concentration,and increasing sheet thickness, the light diffusion plate to increase light transmittance, haze decreases. When the doping concentration is 0.7wt%, a particle size is 3um, the transmittance of the light diffusion plate is 86.72% and the haze is 86.21%.The uniformity of the LED light sources increases while the luminous efficiency of the LED remains the same by adding the MPSQ to silica gel.
