The economy is in a high-speed development stage in our country, with the resources, energy-consuming heavy industry rapid development, but production technology and equipment is relatively uncultured, energy consumption is large, has brought the serious environmental pollution problems. Heavy industrial emissions of air pollutants in high temperature flue gas as the main characteristics, Smoke class particulate matter as one of the main control objects. Along with the increasingly strict environmental emissions standards, electrostatic precipitators, wet dust collector is hard to meet emissions requirements, high temperature flue gas emissions control technology has been developed from the electric technology gradually to bag dust removal technology. So the study on the high temperature flue gas bag dust removal technology is in line with the national environmental protection industry policy, it has wide prospect of market and great significance.This paper is at the basis of the reconstruction project on high temperature flue gas dust removal system of the fourth rotary kiln in Baosteel roasting plant, in view of the modified pulse jet bag filter is studied. The main research content includes the following several aspects:First of all, this paper introduces the kinds of filter material fiber, weaving and post-treatment methods in detail, discusses the types and performances of high temperature filter material concretely, and the developmental present situation and future tendency of high temperature filter material is well summarized.Second, the choice of lime kiln high temperature flue gas filter materials and the structure of the pulse injection system can be analyzed and summarized from two aspects of theory and practical application by using different high temperature filter materials in each chamber in bag filter remover of the fourth rotary kiln in Baosteel roasting plant and the comparative study on the injection device with or without venturi tube.Finally, the optimal configuration parameters of the dust remover are confirmed to ensure the normal operation of lime kiln’s dust removal system through the study of filter operational performance under different parameters, it provides reference data and theoretical basis for the future practical design work.Through the above several researches, the main conclusions can be drawn as follows:(1) For the characteristics of high temperature, alkaline and easy to hydrolysis of the lime kiln’s flue gas, we should choose FMS Teflon B Coating filter, of which the surface layer is mainly synthetic fiber.(2) The bag cage with venturi tube must be used for not bending glass fiber and FMS filters. This theory is confirmed by the comparative study on the injection device with or without venturi tube in the fourth bag filter of lime kiln.(3) the design parameters of the pulse injection system such as: spray torch diameter, injection mouth diameter and shape, the airflow velocity of injection nozzle, injection mouth and filter mouth, the distance of the spray torch to the filter mouth are summarized by analyzing the relation between the pulse valve and the dust removal, the injection pressure and the dust removal, the injection pressure and gas volume and the peek pressure, etc.
