Two dimensional optical drum as a typical parts of ultra precision machining has been more and more applied in laser printers and other instruments.Demand is also increasing year by year. Two dimensional drum machining precision turntable as two-dimensional drum processing clamping process device, which positioning accuracy not only determines the surface precision and shape accuracy of irregular drum, and affects the surface quality of irregular drum to a great extent.According to the structure and working principle of the turntable, we stressed on analysis and discussion the error sources, error species and error transfer relations of turntable.According to the effect of random error of turntable positioning, using space coordinate transformation method analysis space coordinate transformation relation of the turntable. Then setup the location of transfer equation in ideal situation and location of transfer equation in the error situation.By using the Monte Carlo method and MATLAB software we get the pointing error of two-dimensional turntable. According to the principle of the independent role of the error analysis Sensitivity of the error. Simulation shows that shaking error of horizontal axis, horizontal tilt error and shaking error vertical axis have great influence on the pointing accuracy of turntable.
