HPLC and TLCS were applied more popular in quautitative determi-nation of Chinese medicines.In this paper TLCS was discussed primarily. Pueraria Lobato has medical effects in many facets,especially in cur-ing atrivascular and cerebrovascular disease.Puerarin is one of the impor-tant live contents in it,with low poisonousness and wide security range.So came to it with the determination. A new version of the internal standard method was proposed for use inquantitative TLC.Using the rectified formula,Puerarin in Pueraria Lobatoand six Chinese medicines was quantitatively determined.Daidzein wasrelected as the internal standard and eluent was methanol-ethyl acetate-petroleum leve-water(1.9:6:3.5:0.3),dual wavelenth reflection zigzagscanning was performed:λ_s=270nm,λ_R=370nm.In comparison with theaverage recovery and RSD of the conventional method,we found the newproposed method was more precise and accurate,at the same time,it waseasy to perform. Meanwhile,Scopoletin in six Chinese medicines was determined byHPTLC scanning.A mixture of chloroform,toluene,acetone and aceticacidglacial(9:0.5:0.5:0.05)was used as eluent,dual wavelenth reflec-tion zigzag scanning was executed:λ_s=345nm,λ_R=265nm.The methodwas simple,convenient,accurate and sensitive....
