Aromatic amines are important fine chemical intermediates in the medicine, dye, and pigment industry. For its high reactive and selection, the transition metal catalyzed reduction of nitro aromatics to corresponding aromatic amines with CO has been widely studied abroad. In this work, referred to the Palladium-catalyzed P-C cross coupling reaction, a novel ligand n-polyethoxyl-4-diphenylphosphino- benzosulfonamide (PEO- DPB SA) and its intermediate 4- diphenylphosphino-benzenosulfonamide(DPBSA) had been synthesized Under the existence of catalyst [Pd(OAc)2] and alkali(KOAc),the reaction between Ph2PH and p-I-C6H4-SO2NH., produced DPBSA in DMA after l5hrs.(yield: 75%) which were determined by LR,扞-INMIR, 31PNMR,MS. After ethoxylation of DPB S A, PEO-DPB SA was prepared. The complex PEO-DPBSA-Ru as catalyst was successfully employed in the aqueous-organic two- phase reduction of nitro aromatics to aromatic amines with CO. Effect of temperature, CO press, time, concentration of catalyst on the reduction was investigated and discussed in detail. Under the condition of 140 P (CO)?Mpa, l0hrs., The conversion of o-chloronitrobenzene to o-chloroaniline was 98%, the selectivity was 100%. Through the nucleophilic substitution, the synthesis PEO-4, 4? 4? phosphinidynetriphenol with definite n value (n4) was tried.
