Stress shearing technique , a general technology , compared to the traditional shearing technology, which can reduce the energy consumption by 30 percent and the shearing edge is smooth and regular which can meet the needs of workblanks in most of precision processing. Accordingly, it is important for us to improve the utilization of the stress shearing technique. Based on the principle of the stress shearing technique as well as the principles of the CAD and simulation technique , a windows 98/NT based platform of the CAD and dynamic simulation system for shearing dies is presented by using the micro-computer in the paper. By establishing the special CAD and dynamic simulation software system of stress shearing dies , we can largely enhance the efficiency of developing dies. At the same time, it reduce the period of developing dies and promote the senate and industrial progress of stress shearing dies. Firstly, the theory foundation of the stress shearing die is introduced. Based on this,the design process is put forward. In succession, the main points of the progress are set forth. ObjectARX is used to design the secondly developing of the stress shearing dies in the paper. According to the size of the knife-edge of the shearing die, it completes the parameter drawing for stress sharing dies automatically in the design of the SD1CADS system. It can set the initial environment of the drawing and parameterization drawing conveniently .So it promotes the senate progress of the stress shearing dies. Finally, the dynamic simulation function in the SDICADS system is presented.
