The technology and mechanism of advanced treating dyeing and printing treated wastewater by adsorption electrolysis method were studied in this paper, and analyzing economic benefits of adsorption electrolysis method application to dyeing and printing wastewater reuse. Adsorption electrolysis anode was dimensionally stable anode which activated carton fiber attaching on it. After measured activated carbon fiber adsorption capability parameters, activated carbon fiber A-i was selected from four kinds of ACF as experimental adsorbent The specific surface area, iodine adsorption value and methylene blue adsorption value of activated carbon fiber A-i were 1479m21g, 141 8mg/g and 292mg/g respectively. After biochemical treatment, the effluent of dyeing and printing treated wastewater still contained a little dyestuffs, auxiliaries and minerals. The water quality of effluent treated by biochemical method could not achieve to the requirement of dyeing and printing using water. Dyestuffs and auxiliaries were the main influence factors of effluent reusing to dyeing and printing pre-process. So, The treatment of dyeing and printing auxiliaries Tx-10 and LAS wastewater by electrolysis and adsorption electrolysis methods was studied to search for the decomposing law of dyeing and printing auxiliaries wastewater. The experiment result showed: (1) ACF adsorption could improve electrolysis oxidating organic pollutant. Compared with electrolysis oxidation method, adsorption electrolysis oxidation method with ACF attaching on anode could increase CODcr removal rate 56.6%; (2) electrolysis could prolong the adsorption balance time of ACF, and made the regeneration period prolonging 4 times. The experiment of adsorption electrolysis method treating dyeing and printing treated wastewater was studied. The suitable technology parameters were gained: current intensity: 300rnA, wastewater intention time: 10mm,, influent pH value: 6.5-7.0, activated carbon fiber using volume: 1.2g. The adsorption electrolysis effluent couldattain to water quality requirement of pre-process. The mechanism of adsorption electrolysis treatment technology was discussed in this paper. In adsorption electrolysis process, adsorption and electrolysis cooperated mutually. On one side, activated carbon fiber absorbed organic pollution material, it made organic pollution matter contacting with oxidant produced by anode electrolysis which could improve pollution matter removal rate, on the other side, anode electrolysis could regenerate activated carbon fiber and prolonged ACF regeneration period.
