In this paper, after simply reviewing the research of Rhokiol L. and summarizing the biological activities and synthesis of Salidroside and p-tyrosol, five different synthesis routes of p-tyrosol starting from benzyl chloride, p-nitro phenyl acetonitrile, phenyl acetonitrile, p-bromo phenol and p-hydroxyl phenyl acetic acid were discussed and evaluated the possibilities of industrialization. Finally, the condensation of p-hydroxyl phenyl acetic acid with 1-bromo-2,3,4,6-tetra-O-acetyl- -D-glucopyanose catalyzed by silver carbonate was discussed, and some methods to improve the yield were proposed. |
