We used the advanced techniques to reform the production process for the effective constituents of Rhodiola sachalinensis: coumarin, salidroside and p-tyrosol. After lots of tests, we acquired an economical and high efficient technological route that not only increased the technological level to produce and the level to control the quality but also gained serial products with high quality and high added value.According to quality difference of different constituents of Rhodiola sachalinensis, we used advanced techniques such as extraction technique of supercritical carbon dioxide, purification technique of resinous adsorption and analysis technique of HPLC to find out technological conditions of extraction, purification, and analysis. We acquired a complete and high efficient technological route and implemented effective separation of effective constituents of Rhodiola sachalinensis: coumarin, salidroside and p-tyrosol. The content of salidroside and p-tyrosol in the product could reach more than 80% and the total yield efficiency was 0. 35%; the content of coumarin in the product reached 24% and the yield efficiency was 8%. The purity and yield efficiency reached the highest level of mass- production. This research achievement offered a basis for Rhodiola sachalinensis medicine to form serial products and for new medicine to be developed. The production process of serial products of Rhodiola sachalinensis based on this research work has been successfully magnified by semiplant test. The success of semiplant test further proved that this production process was feasible, economical and high efficient. The products coincide the requirement for quality that modernization of Chinese drugs required.
