.pp / Epdm Blend Compatibilization Toughening Material

In this paper, PP-g-DBM were prepared first, the graft rate and its influence facter were characterized and analyzed. Used it as consistened agent, PP/EPDM!PP-g-DBM consistened and toughened system were prepared. The results indicate that PP/EPDMIPP-g-DBM toughened system(tension resistence=25MPa, extension at break=lOO%~ impact strength9OJIm.. melt index=8.5gIlOmin)can used as bumper of auto and other materials, it has an extensive applied forground. The scanning electron microscopy(SEM) the dynamic mecxhanical analysis(DMA) and other method were used to characterize the microcosmic shapes factured surface and interface properties. The result showed that PP-g-DBM could improve the consistence of the elastomer toughened materials evidently. Influence facter on toughening mechanism .~ interface structure and properties were analyzed.
